Australia's Long Term National Health Plan
Australia's Long Term National Health Plan charts the way forward over the next 3 and 10 years in the key areas of mental health, primary care, hospitals, preventive health and medical research.
There are four key pillars in our reform plan:
• guaranteeing Medicare and improving access to medicines through the Pharmaceutical Benefts Scheme (PBS)
• supporting our public and private hospitals, including improvements to private health insurance
• prioritising mental health and preventive health
• investing in health and medical research.
