Channeling Change acknowledges the overwhelming response to the 2001 article "Collective Impact".

The authors state that "....more and more people have come to believe that collective impact is not just a fancy name for collaboration, but represents a fundamentally different, more disciplined, and higher performing approach to achieving large-scale social impact".
