Health Literacy Short Video Series
COVID-19 has created many challenges and changes to how we work and interact with our clients and the community. We need to provide the best quality information possible. It is important for them to easily access our services, the broader health system, and to be able to receive the right service and understand the treatments and instructions they receive.
Access Health and Community produced a series of three short videos for their staff. They have shared these videos with The Well so we can all be reminded of this important aspect of our work.
The session topics are:

The videos are designed to give you the knowledge and tools to use health literacy principles with confidence in your everyday practice. The last video talks about guidelines and tools and they refer to their health literacy guidelines for written communication, which can also be found on The Well.
