The Gender Equity Project
Not all partners are organisational - sometimes your partners are sitting at the computer desk next to you!
Carrington Health initiated an internal "Gender Equity Project" to promote equity in their workplace. Through a reflective practice process including surveys, internal document analysis and consultations with a range of internal stakeholders, Carrington Health gathered information that they will use to inform an action plan.
This information will be used to launch the next phase of the project, which will examine how Carrington Health's programs and services can be delivered to community more equitably. These Gender Equity actions will contribute to the success of their Integrated Health Promotion Plan and the Together for Equality and Respect partnership.
