16 Days of Activism Campaign 2022

16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

Women’s Health In the North (WHIN) is excited to announce that they were successful in receiving a 16 Days of Activism consortium grant from Safe and Equal. WHIN will use funding from the consortium grant to partner with Darebin City Council, Your Community Health and Juno to expand the reach of the 16 Days Of Activism campaign to local members of the community from diverse cultural and faith-based backgrounds who may not have previous exposure to the campaign.

WHIN will be working in an integrated effort across their preventing gender-based violence, community programs team and local partners in a series of place-based community led prevention activities for the 16 Days of Activism to support grassroots engagement in the Respect Women: ‘Call It Out’ (Respect Is) campaign.

WHIN has also developed social media tiles in English, Arabic, Greek, Tamil and Urdu on actions to promote gender equality. The 2022 tiles can be found below, which is where social media tiles from previous years are located as well as the Social Marketing Package 2020 which has useful information for supporting partner’s campaigns.
