Gender Equity Storytime

Whitehorse Manningham Libraries presented four special storytimes as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign in 2018.

The storytelling sessions used stories that present both boys and girls with the message that their futures are not limited or predetermined by their gender, and that they all have equal worth and equal potential - and deserve equal respect.

A range of resources were provided to adults to take home, along with brochures for local family violence support services.
