Money Talks

Monash - June 2020

Women's Health East (WHE) 'Money Talks' was a free online series for women who live, work, or study in the City of Monash to support their financial health and wellbeing.

The sessions were attended by 29 women and topics included:

  • Practical information and resources on budgeting and saving
  • Financial pressures and getting help
  • Investing, and
  • Understanding Super.

WHE would like to thank their Monash partners, financial education expert Money Matters, and Monash City Council for their support in making this online series a success.

Manningham - August & September 2020

With COVID-19 disproportionately impacting women in both paid work (job losses or as frontline staff) and unpaid work, WHE ran a second Money Talks series with the support of Manningham City Council.

The free online webinars encouraged women to take action to improve their financial wellbeing and included the following topics:

  • Your money mindset
  • Young women & money
  • Financial pressures & getting help
  • Super in retirement
  • Making smart investment decisions.
