Ways to Play

Ways to Play is an initiative of FVREE in collaboration with a number of partner organisations across the Eastern Region.

Ways to Play are play-based workshops for children aged 0-6 and their parents and caregivers. The workshops use a mixture of activities, songs and stories to deliver messages about gender equality and the importance of breaking down gender stereotypes in children’s everyday lives for their healthy development.

FVREE is offering free Ways to Play sessions to community groups and spaces. Each family that attends also receives a free Family Play Kit with activities to keep the fun going at home – as well as the Level Playground Family Play Book, packed with ideas and information.

“A great session thankyou! The kit is fabulous! It will get a lot of use in our household. Very handy to have extra ideas at our fingertips.”
“Loved your energy, vibe and great ideas about gender stereotypes”
