Eastern Sector Development Team

The Eastern Sector Development Team (ESDT) provides support across the Eastern Metropolitan Region to service providers funded through CHSP and HACC PYP.

The ESDT have developed a number of free online education resources covering:

  • Diversity
  • Inclusion
  • Intersectionality
  • Wellness
  • Reablement
  • Dignity of risk and
  • Care planning.

These sessions provide an overview of the area being discussed, case studies, reflective questions, additional resources and ways to improve practice.

There is also a comprehensive program of activities available that reviews how to address diversity and wellness within the Aged Care Quality Standards. Originally created as a webinar, the session is now divided into 7 videos with good practice cases studies that align to the requirements of the standards.
