The Voices of Over 55s: Challenging Ageist Stereotypes
Knox City Council’s Bright Ideas Network developed a project to combat ageist stereotypes. The Voices of Over 55’s exhibition was launched in November 2019 at the Knox Community Arts Centre.
The exhibition is an art-based project showcasing the portraits and a short film of Knox residents who are aged over 55. It shows their various skills and ways they contribute to the economy, their family, community and more.
