Healthy Eating and Active Living Education Resource

DPV Health’s Healthy Eating and Active Living Education Resource is intended for practitioner's who work with young people, ranging from toddler's to young adults. This includes practitioner's working as:

  • early year’s educators
  • wellbeing officers
  • schools teachers
  • social workers, and
  • school support staff such as multicultural aids and bicultural workers.

The resource contains:

  • Four key topics for professionals to engage with a range of ages (0-25 years).
  • Community snapshot of Hume and Whittlesea
  • Healthy eating guidelines and tips
  • Physical activity recommendations and tips
  • Staying well, including goal setting tips and myth busting
  • Learning activities to consolidate key messages
  • Interesting facts to engage young people.

Along with the Education Resource, a Community Resource has also been developed.
