VicHealth - Mental Wellbeing

The Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) is a world-first health promotion foundation, focusing on promoting good health and preventing chronic disease.

VicHealth's work includes creating and funding interventions; conducting vital research to advance Victoria’s population health; producing and supporting campaigns to promote a healthier Victoria; and providing transformational expertise and insights to government.

VicHealth works to build the right foundations for mental wellbeing to help ensure more Victorians are resilient and connected. The key focus areas include:

  • Improving the mental wellbeing of young Victorians aged 12-25 years by helping them feel more connected to their communities.
  • Creating a more equitable society for people of all genders, including promoting healthy masculinities and tackling harmful gender stereotypes for young men and boys aged 12-25 years.
