Endometriosis Awareness Month 2022
During March 2022, Women’s Health Services across Victoria worked together to produce a social media campaign for Endometriosis Awareness Month. Endometriosis is a common reproductive health issue that affects about 830,000 Australians.
The theme of the campaign in 2022 was Be Endo Aware: EndoMarch 2022, with the following hashtags used: #EndoAware, #EndoStrong and #EndoMarch2022
The campaign included information on:
- What is endometriosis?
- What are the symptoms of endometriosis?
- Seeking support for endometriosis
- Call to action!
The campaign was well received and engagement was particularly high regarding symptoms and support.
EndoMarch may be over, however the Victorian Women's Health Services will continue advocating for funding, research and better services for people living with endometriosis.
