Ambassadors for Gender Equality & Respect
Ambassadors for Gender Equality & Respect is a project led by Insprio and EDVOS in partnership with:
- Yarra Ranges Council
- Women's Health East
- Cire Services
- Eastern Health
- Cire Community School
- Upper Yarra Secondary College, and
- Little Yarra Steiner School.
Twenty student ambassadors were supported to plan and deliver their own gender equity projects. The students also co-designed a "student voice" toolkit to support their peers to become Ambassadors for Gender Equality and Respect called 'Take Action for Gender Equality & Respect: A Student Guide'. The tool supports young people to develop knowledge and skills and take action to create positive change in their school and community.
