Leading the Change 2019

Leading the Change is a partnership project undertaken across football and netball clubs in the AFL Outer East that aims to:

  • Increase awareness of respectful relationships
  • Promote gender equality
  • Reduce stigma associated with help seeking for mental health concerns, and
  • Promote positive cultures within sporting clubs.

In 2019, 41 sessions were delivered across 11 football and netball clubs in the AFL Outer East reaching an estimated 1000 club participants.

Organisations: Eastern Health, Sport & Life Training (SALT), Yarra Valley Water and AFL Outer East.
