'My Gender Equal Future’ graphic design competition

PLEDGE (People Linking to Embrace and Develop Gender Equality), in partnership with Knox City Council and Swinburne University held the ‘My Gender Equal Future’ graphic design competition.

The competition invited young people who were connected to the City of Knox to imagine a gender equal world where everyone enjoys equal opportunities, choices and resources, and put those ideas into a graphic poster.

Twenty-four students from six different schools entered and the posters were exhibited at Gallery 369, Swinburne University Wantirna Campus. An awards ceremony was held in May 2021 and five finalists and two overall winners were given prizes by the Deputy Mayor Cr. Susan Lauken. Swinburne University and Fairhills Secondary College also received awards for being the two schools that submitted the most posters.

Congratulations to all entrants, finalists and winners!
