Seniors Rights Victoria

Seniors Rights Victoria was established in 2008 and is a program within the Council of the Ageing (COTA) Vic and governed by its board.

Seniors Rights Victoria is funded by Victoria Legal Aid and the Department of Health and Human Services, and works in partnership with Justice Connect and the Eastern Community Legal Centre.

It provides information, support, advice and education to help prevent elder abuse and safeguard the rights, dignity and independence of older people.
