Val's LGBTI Ageing & Aged Care

Val's LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care is part of GLHV at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University. It was established in 2009 and is a Victorian-based program working to improve healthy ageing pathways, care and visibility of older LGBTI people.

Val’s together with GLHV offers LGBTI inclusive aged care training, consultation, and provides evidence based research, information and resources to build the capacity of services to be welcoming and inclusive of older LGBTI people.

Val’s provides regular e-news bulletins linking services and individuals to relevant information, resources, research, events and advocacy.
