Positive Choices

Positive Choices is an online portal that provides evidence-based information and prevention resources for teachers, students and their parents.

It is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, informed by input from teachers, students and parents, and developed in collaboration by researchers from:

  1. The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, University of Sydney
  2. The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), University of New South Wales
  3. The National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University.

The Positive Choices portal offers a range of drug and alcohol education resources including:

  • Evidence-based prevention programs
  • Factsheets
  • Activities
  • Videos
  • Games, and
  • Apps.
