Reducing Alcohol Harm in the Chin Community Through Sport
Reducing Alcohol Harm in the Chin Community Through Sport project was an initiative between:
- Outer East Primary Care Partnership
- Maroondah City Council
- The Australian Chin Community, and
- Eastern Region DHHS.
On the 2 November 2019, the Australian Chin Community celebrated the official opening of their new volley ball and soccer court at the Hughes Park Community facility in North Croydon.
The new facility will allow more young Chin people to play sport in a safe and accessible location and will increase opportunities for the Chin community to run social events.
