Sexual and Reproductive Health Week 2021
The Women’s Health Services of Victoria invited their partners and other organisations to take part in their annual Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Week social media campaign. The campaign aimed to bring attention to sexual and reproductive health issues affecting women, trans men, non-binary and gender diverse people across Victoria.
The campaign ran from Sunday 26 September – Friday 1 October, and coincided with two significant international health days: World Contraception Day (26 September) and International Safe Abortion Day (28 September).
The theme for 2021 was ‘Know Your Rights’ and was all about highlighting the services, education and support that ALL women, trans men, non-binary and gender diverse people in Victoria have the right to, and should receive, when it comes to their sexual and reproductive health.
The campaign covered five topics on this theme including:
- Contraception
- Menstrual Health
- Abortion
- Pleasure
- Sex Education.
