Community Connectors Program (CCP)

The Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne) (MIC) has received funding for the Community Connectors Program (CCP) to support people with disabilities from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds to understand and engage with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The program has been established in recognition that people with disability from CALD communities face additional barriers to accessing the NDIS. The main purpose of the program is to reduce these barriers and support participants to achieve their goals.

  • Connect potential clients with NDIS Partners in the Community (PITC) such as LAC providers.
  • Activate and implement plans by supporting clients to engage with service providers and other supports.
